About Vivek....
Vivek Wallace was born and raised in Miami, Florida on December 31st, 1975. Vivek is a family oriented Father of three, and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran that has been in the photojournalism space since 2003. His contributions over the years include ESPN, DIME MAGAZINE, and more. Early on, Vivek served as a Beat writer locally, covering the NBA's Miami Heat (by way of Most Valuable Network). This run covered the teams first NBA Championship title, and what a ride it was!
In 2005, Vivek transitioned to the Fight game with work published worldwide, including his weekly mailbag ("The Left-Hook Lounge") which was consistently the highest volume product on the site for several years. Others may remember his patented 'tough love' segment, aptly titled "CALL 'EM OUT FRIDAY'S", where Vivek penned an always thorough perspective outlining critical topics surrounding top talents in the sport.
Additionally, Vivek served as key moderator and primary host of FIGHTHYPE RADIO.
About Percy....
Percy Crawford was born and raised in Slidell, Louisiana on July 24th, 1980. As an avid fan of combat sports, Percy converted his passion to a path for journalism in the world of combat sports. In 2003, Percy began interviewing fighters using a unique perspective and a mutual respect for all combat sports. That mutual respect led Percy down the paths of all disciplines, including boxing, MMA, kickboxing, and bareknuckle. Percy started his career with Boxingtalk.com before becoming the co-founder of FightHype.com.
With over 20-years in the fight game, Percy decided to broaden the scope by interviewing talent from the worlds of entertainment, sports, music, and beyond. His resume over the years includes work published in Sports Illustrated, Newsweek, AllHipHop.com, The Hype Magazine, Heart & Soul, Rolling Out, and Zenger News. This catalog includes many exclusive interviews with legends from the past, present, and future.
